The hotel is super close to all the museums and the White House, which was really convenient. The room was spacious and pretty clean, and the staff were all so friendly and helped me out with directions and printing stuff. The outdoor pool was awesome for chilling out and cooling down on hot days, plus the onsite parking was a bonus. The only downside was some noise from nearby construction, but it wasn't a big deal overall. 🏊

The room was comfortable, with Maurice and Lousia providing exceptional service. Free WiFi was a bonus. Enjoyed the clean pool area for the kids, proximity to Nationals Stadium, and the convenient shuttle to nearby landmarks such as the Supreme Court and Washington Monument. The location made it easy for family bonding over visits to attractions like the United States Botanic Garden and Library of Congress. The relaxation facilities, including the outdoor heated swimming pool, added to our enjoyment.

The dining scene near Capitol Skyline is tastefully top-notch, with organic fruits and epic culinary tales at Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant and Shake Shack. The helpful staff and beautiful pool are like cherries on top.

The phone snafu didn’t ring my bell, and the ice room map was MIA. But hey, even with those glitches, this place still sparkles like a cherry blossom in full bloom.

The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the city, being close to major landmarks like museums and the White House. the room was spacious and clean, with a great view of the Capitol Building. the staff were friendly, professional, and always available to help. the buffet breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, perfect to start the day. the outdoor heated swimming pool was a nice touch for relaxation.

One minor issue was that the umbrellas by the pool were not functioning properly and could use some maintenance. the room temperature was a bit difficult to regulate, as it took some time to reach a comfortable level despite adjusting the heating.

I've had a fab stay on this area. Fairly clean hotel, loved to be short walk to metro station thanks to decent location. The room was brand-new with large bed, nice bedding and good facilities, could leave my car outside.

The Rubell family, known for their art expertise, yet again has managed to find an emerging neighborhood and neglected architectural gem for this hotel. The hotel's event planner was helpful, and the location near The Castle and National Mall was convenient.

The reimagined poolside venue turned out to be a delightful surprise. The fresh lounge scene felt like a hidden oasis in the midst of the urban jungle. The stylish pool furniture and chill-out lounge music created a relaxing atmosphere where time seemed to stand still.

The hotel was reasonably spacious with an unbeatable location next to Capitol and the Mall and the train station.

The walk to National Stadium is very easy, making it convenient for game nights. The hotel has a beautiful pool area with a lifeguard on duty, upscale seating, and a nice bar with reasonably priced food. The king room overlooking the pool was comfortable and clean. There is on-site parking available in a well-lit garage. The neighborhood feels safe, and there are more restaurants within walking distance now. The hotel offers free shuttle service to Capitol Hill and is a great option if you're going to Nationals Park. The bed and bedding were also very comfortable.

Breakfast for "American" breakfast was very good. Location of the hotel is great, you can walk about 20 minutes to the Capitol, to the White House about 40 minutes. During the holiday period the hotel organized a "free" bus at the weekend, which could take you to 3 marked places in Washington (it was a considerable convenience).

The food in the hotel bar was rather discouraged, it wasn't unpleasant but quite greasy. The pool was nice, but due to the quite large number of hotel guests I had the impression that the water in the pool was very dirty (the showers were probably only in the toilets, I didn't notice them outside so I guess not all of them used them before entering the water).

Location and rooms were perfect and I especially loved that the place was fairly clean. The room was huge with very comfy beds. It was an absolutely amazing stay, I would stay here again.

She was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. the room was comfortable, clean, and had a great view of the Capitol. the hotel was well-prepared for a busy March For Our Lives March, even setting up an overflow breakfast room to ensure everyone was served in a timely manner. There were also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and the hotel had onsite parking and a refreshing pool. a convenient and comfortable stay.

The hotel is located in a prime spot, very close to both the Capitol and the Nationals baseball stadium. It is an easy walk to many attractions in the city center. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

It's quiet place to stay 2 miles away from Washington Monument. The breakfast is hot, the room is tidy with very comfortable bed.

The rooms are tidy, there's an iron and dryer, a mini express. Stylishly decorated object, nice swimming pool, very close to the tourist attractions.

It's quite a long way to the subway, without luggage ok but with suitcases it's already troublesome.

Capitol Skyline offered comfortable beds and ample natural light. Breakfast selection was lacking for the price. Disappointing walking distance to Metro with ongoing construction. Shuttle service ends early.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to get around, whether you have kids in tow or are traveling solo. The hotel is also conveniently close to the museums, and the hustlers near the 7-11 can provide quick directions to the main attractions. The spacious rooms are clean, with comfortable beds and a sunny atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and provides excellent service. You can enjoy a nice breakfast in the morning before heading out to explore.

The walls can be a bit thin, so noise from the corridors may sometimes be audible.

I keep returning to Capitol Skyline. On my first stay, the staff guided me perfectly. The amenities, including Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness studio, suit me. With its shuttle service, it's ideal for my city trips.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the main attractions of the city, with walking distance to the Capitol and National Mall. Additionally, the availability of a free shuttle bus and plenty of taxis made getting around easy. the large room was comfortable, with a cozy bed that provided a good night's sleep.

There were a couple of minor inconveniences during our stay. there was some noise from refurbishment and construction work happening outside the hotel.

We also appreciated the separate bathroom design, which made getting ready as a family much easier. the general manager, Jeff, went out of his way to ensure we had a great trip, providing helpful sightseeing tips.

Comfortable hotel with a nice and modern reception. Close to tourist areas and city centre. price is excellent.

The room is old, the carpet has stains from use. The sheets are very thin, not warm. The bathroom is fine, but it could be renovated. The location is central but without a car you don't get anywhere because the hotel is behind a highway (2 minutes away) but you can't cross it without a car.

We even received a complimentary room upgrade for our anniversary, complete with a stunning view and special treat. the clean room, comfortable bed, and great dining options, including a friendly bartender, made our stay enjoyable. We love the location of this hotel! It is in an extremely walkable area, with the metro station just a stone's throw away. The staff here are amazing - they are very accommodating and provide an excellent shuttle service. The rooms are cozy and are equipped with all the modern amenities like in-room air conditioning, tv, and Wi-Fi.

The pool was absolutely amazing and we had a great time relaxing and swimming. the room was well-designed and had everything we needed for our romantic escape. the location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. We also appreciated the free shuttle service that dropped us off at the main sights.

The staff could use some improvement in terms of friendliness and communication. We were not properly informed about additional charges for parking and breakfast, which was disappointing.

Good neighborhood, under construction but well located in relation to the Port (maine street) and Capitol. Close to the Whole Food which is great and with a lot of healthy pre-prepared food that allows you to have breakfast, lunch or supper and save you the restaurants that are very very expensive.

During my business trip to Washington, we stayed at Capitol Skyline, chosen by our director. The highlight of the hotel was the spectacular outdoor pool, which became a go-to destination for Washingtonians and tourists alike every summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The vibrant atmosphere and the impeccably maintained pool area provided the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work. Surrounded by comfortable loungers and a refreshing bar, it was an ideal spot for relaxation and socializing.

The location is not the best, being a bit out of town and taking more than half an hour to walk to the central parts of the city.

A very decent room (large area, comfortable beds) - but not a sensational one. Very tasty breakfasts, although for an extra charge. Useful parking, if you need one. Relatively close to the main attractions of Washington, although it is not a distance to comfortably walk (Uber/Lyft required).

Very poor, tiny bathroom, rather discouraging to use - additionally with a classic case of American hotels, i.e. a tiny sieve attached to the wall with barely dripping water (this is to pretend to be a shower). The service below the criticism - it was very rude to me, you could see that I was disturbing :( . Additionally, I asked for an earlier check-in and I got an email approval for it a few days earlier, after which in the hotel itself it turned out that nothing of it and I have to wait 2 hours for a room (standard check-in at 3 p.m.), then the waiting was extended by a quarter of an hour (clearly for a penalty). Surrounding the hotel does not make the best impression - you can see that it is a very neglected area (it is a much better idea to move 1 km further to new Navy Yard blocks). Here you will not see any shops, restaurants, etc. nearby. This is rather an extinct neighborhood. And the hotel itself also looks as if time has stopped for it in the 60s.

The breakfast, very expensive compared to the service, the music at the bottom near the swimming pool which made vibrate the walls of the room until 21hs.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Capitol right outside my window. The staff, especially Maurice and Lousia, were friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The shuttle bus in the mornings was a huge help in getting around to the different monuments. The location of this hotel is superb, situated in a friendly neighborhood and conveniently close to all the tourist areas. Additionally, the pool was a great bonus for relaxation.

If they give you a room on the lower floors there's no interesting view. The shower's a little sloppy.

I recently stayed at a hotel near the Capitol for a few nights and had a great experience. The staff was professional and helpful, answering all my questions. The room had a beautiful view of the Capitol and Washington Monument, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a nice touch of cold cuts and cheese. The hotel was clean and they always replenished the food. The free shuttle bus was convenient for getting to the Capitol for tours. Parking was available and the cost was reasonable. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

The renovated recreation area across the street had everything - tennis courts, basketball courts, even a world-class soccer field! It was epic for hanging out with friends and pets. Plus, the Waterfront Metro Station was just a skip away, making it super easy to hit up concerts and theater shows around the city.

Directly across the street from the hotel is a newly renovated recreation area with Tennis courts, Basketball courts, a world-class soccer field, baseball fields, and a fabulous new children's playground area. It was the perfect place for our family to enjoy outdoor activities and spend quality time together. The location also provided easy access to concerts and local theatre productions at some of the city's most notable venues, creating a great atmosphere for family fun.

My kids wished for more kid-friendly meal options at the hotel restaurant, catering specifically to young children's tastes and preferences.

The value for this hotel was mind-blowing! The location was SUPER convenient, only a 20-minute walk to major attractions. We loved using the city bikeshare, just 2 blocks away. The room was spacious and comfortable. Plus, being close to the ballpark and Audi Field was jaw-dropping.
